Workbooks & data freshness

New here? Open the tab for step-by-step workbook linking.

Files are read only on your PC — nothing is uploaded. Use Link in Edge/Chrome to reload when someone saves on the share.

Recommended: (1) ShopFloor-Routing.xlsx or lean routing export (Fresh Data / Upstream_Operations) — this drives search, schedule, work centers, and hours; (2) optional inventory workbook (ITEM QTY AVAIL or lean ShopFloor-Inventory) for on-hand, components, kit, and MO due dates; (3) optional bom.sqlite for print BOM pick lists and related parent/child jobs; (4) optional Weld Part EFF With QTY.xlsx so TACK / WELD-SMALL hours use Eq 2 (Actual).

Getting started

Link your workbooks once in Edge or Chrome. Data stays on your PC — nothing is uploaded. You can return here anytime.

General search or department-specific: leave All departments and search a part / MO / order, or pick a department to list open jobs there (in due-date order). Print table prints this result grid. Check Pick for travelers — Shift-click a box to select the rows in between. Click a row for job detail.

Quick search of the drawings folder by part number. This does not use sales orders — a print can be found before any order exists. Link the folder on Data. Use *869 as a wildcard. Click a row to open the PDF.

Escape product line: open jobs whose part number starts with ESC-, grouped by sales order (from the routing description, for example FABORD0018426). The due date is the earliest open line on that order. Click an order to expand it here — not in a popup — with the same columns as Search. Dept is where that open step sits. Notes on a line are kept in the history file.

Select a work center to list its open jobs by due date. The table loads the first 50 rows, then more as you scroll. Click a row for job detail. Notes on a line are kept in the history file (same notes as Escape).

Weekly pick list by work center (department). Check Pick to print only selected jobs (all print buttons). Click a row for job detail. Load the routing workbook on the Data tab first.

Load the routing workbook on the Data tab, then choose a department.

Group jobs with the same pick list so you can pull material once and run them together. Uses the same department/week scope as Schedule.

Load the routing workbook on the Data tab, then choose a department.

Load the routing workbook on the Data tab to see hours by department.

Shop-floor history

Completions inferred when a routing step disappears from the export. Works without a current routing file. Suspect snapshots stay out of throughput until you confirm them.

Analytics

Department throughput and completed line items over time, built from the shop-floor history archive. A line item counts as completed on the refresh where it disappeared from the routing export (accepted snapshots only) — that removal date drives these analytics. Use the Completed on calendar to pick a day, or All dates for the full archive. Works without a current routing file.
